Representing relationships and choices, The Lovers card is the six in the Major Arcana deck. Mostly read as a romantic card, its meaning is far deeper and wide-reaching. It is a card that speaks to sacrifice, and balance; it is about self-love, major life influences and decisions; temptation and embracing joy.

Most classic tarot decks still use CIS heteronormative imagery to represent the couple. This wall hanging is a playful reinterpretation with queer silver and purple queer female figures. Verdant fronds, and lily of the valley flowers (signifying good luck and the return of happiness with spring) form the major backdrop.
