Betty Wood (she/her) is a queer Toronto-based fibre artist who works at the intersection of folk craft and fine art.
Her ’yarn paintings’ explore the domestic, using plants and furniture to enliven interior spaces recreated in unexpected scales and colours. She works exclusively with hand tools, blending punching, hooking and embroidery techniques and using a mix of natural and recycled materials.
